Starting a Career
Young Latin Americans face numerous challenges when entering the finance industry or entrepreneurship, including limited access to opportunities due to lack of resources and support networks, difficulties in building professional networks and finding mentors, and lack of education teaching them where to start. Compounding these challenges is the disproportionately low representation of Latin Americans in finance compared to other racial and ethnic groups, highlighting the need for concerted efforts to promote diverse perspectives in the industry.
Our Solution
Addressing these disparities requires providing access to education, financial aid, networking opportunities, and mentorship. We want to create programs that support Latin-American professionals and entrepreneurs in their endeavors
Education
Providing educational sessions and resources to high school students and undergraduate students, with a particular focus on promoting interest and understanding in the finance industry, entrepreneurship, and personal finance.
Scholarships
Offering scholarship opportunities to support and encourage the educational and professional development of underrepresented students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, etc.
Events
Facilitating networking events and opportunities for Latin-American entrepreneurs and professionals working in the finance industry, aimed at fostering connections and professional growth within the community.
Mentorship
Connecting seasoned Latin-American professionals with undergraduate students and recent graduates to provide them with the information and guidance needed to excel early on in their careers.
